How we work
(For corporate bookings)
We operate in and out of studio. Should the photoshoot be at the client offices, we will bring the studio to you. We provide colour backdrops and lighting equipment. Our set up requires a minimum of 5m x 5m of empty space. A boardroom with a table that cannot be removed won’t work. The space needs to be clear of traffic. So a canteen is not ideal.
We also request that each person has the opportunity to have their session done privately without an audience watching on.
Hair & Make up, and styling
We highly recommend including a make-up artist in your budget (which we can source for you). It takes the quality to a much higher standard.
However, if your budget does not allow for it, we will apply a translucent powder which helps to mattify the skin reducing shine or oily faces. Our assistant also doubles as a stylist to ensure your wardrobe is neat and creases are minimised. He will also ensure any flyaways are minimised.
How long does each person take to photograph and do you direct?
This really depends on person to person as well as how many variations are required. Some people struggle with being in front of the camera and require more time than others. On average, we generally ask for 10-15 minutes per person if possible so that we can do a powder touch-up and check for wardrobe malfunctions.
I am very vocal during the shoots. I direct my subjects every step of the way. Some people get frustrated because they just want to leave but I ask that they be patient with me and allow me to position them in the best way possible.
